WINTER SPORTS TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel with us.

The Canadian Rockies Academy has therefore teamed up with Travel & General Insurance Company plc to offer our winter sports instructor trainees a policy which has been specifically designed to meet their requirements and cover the cost of the course in full.

Our Winter Sports Insurance provides specialist cover for skiing and snowboarding and many other winter sport activities,

The cover includes:

  • Cover for up to 90 days
  • Cancellation and curtailment cover up to £6000
  • Emergency medical repatriation and associated expenses abroad of up to £5,000,000 with hospital benefit of up to £50,000
  • Accidental loss, theft or damage to your own or hired ski/snowboard equipment
  • Reimbursement of course fees, lift passes and hired ski equipment if you're injured or fall ill
  • Reimbursement for loss or theft of personal money, documents, baggage or belongings

ENDSLEIGH WINTER SPORTS INSURANCE

We can also recommend Winter Sports Insurance provided by Endsleigh insurance.

Endsleigh Winter Sports Insurance provides specialist cover for skiing and snowboarding and many other winter sport activities. Their cover includes:

  • Emergency medical assistance
  • Skiing - (off piste with a guide) and snowboarding
  • Accidental loss, theft or damage to your own or hired ski/snowboard equipment
  • Hiring replacement ski/snowboard equipment should yours be lost, stolen or damaged
  • Reimbursement of ski school fees, lift passes and hired ski equipment if you're injured or fall ill
  • Loss of lift pass
  • The costs of transport to an alternative site due to lack of snow or if avalanche closes your resort

Winter Sports Insurance also covers you for cancellation or curtailment charges, personal accident, emergency medical expenses, overseas legal expenses, personal money, passport and documents, baggage, personal liability and search & rescue (available on comprehensive policy).
