The Canadian Rockies Academy

Naomi - an academy delegate. The Canadian Rockies Academy provides training for people who are serious about gaining a winter-sport instructor qualification.

The primary objectives of the Academy are to prepare individuals to work at a professional level within the winter-sport industry and to raise their personal skiing or riding standards to professional levels.

Academy qualifications are granted by the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and the Canadian Snowboard Instructors Association and they internationally recognised as being of the highest standard.

Prices of Academy courses are significantly lower than those offered elsewhere because of the unique relationship that exists with its host resort, Marmot Basin, Jasper, Alberta. The Academy programme is more collegiate than vacational which means that it is highly regarded within the industry and adds significantly to any CV.
